Recruiter Readiness Review

Talent can get missed when the presentation is scattered.

Most athletes do not have one clean place where everything lives.

Film might be on Hudl.
Camp results may be in screenshots.
Rankings may live on outside sites.
Metrics may be buried in posts.
Social links may not point to the right information.
Contact details may be missing or unclear.
Academic details may not be easy to find.

That creates delays.

When a recruiting staff member is trying to evaluate quickly, scattered information can slow down the process before the athlete gets a real look.

The 100-Point Recruiter Readiness Review helps identify what is working, what is missing, and what should be cleaned up before wider outreach.

The goal is not to look busy. The goal is to be easy to evaluate.

OTU reviews the athlete’s full recruiting presentation:

The profile information, film, verified metrics, camp results, rankings, social links, contact details, academic information, and overall organization. Then OTU provides a clear score, category breakdown, strengths, gaps, and priority fixes.

This is not a talent ranking.

This is not a recruiting guarantee.

This is a presentation review built to help athletes and families understand how ready their information is for college staff review.

The 100-Point Scorecard

What The Review Measures

  • Profile Clarity

Can a recruiting staff member quickly understand who the athlete is?

  • Film Readiness

Is the athlete’s film easy to find, current, useful, and organized?

  • Verified Metrics

Are the athlete’s numbers current, organized, and easy to verify?

  • Online Presence

Does the athlete’s public profile support the recruiting process?

  • Recruiting Information Organization

Is the athlete’s information organized in a way that is easy to review?

  • OTU Overall Impression

How does the athlete present as a whole?

Where The Score Lands

  • Recruiter Ready

The athlete’s information is clean, organized, current, and easy for staff to evaluate. Minor polish may help, but the foundation is strong.

  • Close To Ready

The athlete may have talent, but the current presentation makes it harder for recruiting staff to evaluate quickly.

  • Needs Cleanup

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • Not Yet Recruiter Ready

The athlete needs a stronger foundation before sending links broadly to schools. This does not mean the athlete lacks ability. It means the recruiting presentation needs work.

What Happens After The Review?

Once the 100-Point Recruiter Readiness Review is complete, OTU will send a clear breakdown of how the athlete’s recruiting presentation currently looks.

The report will include the athlete’s overall readiness score, category scores, strengths, gaps, and priority fixes. The goal is to help families understand what is already working, what may be missing, and what should be cleaned up before sending more links to college programs.

Some athletes may only need to update a few things themselves: film links, social bios, contact information, camp results, verified metrics, or academic details.

Others may be ready for a stronger, centralized, direct, link for Coach and Recruiter Communication.

That is where the OTU Recruit Profile Builder can help.
